USM and Walmart Lets Talk about them!!

They have no clue how to do this. Extending deadlines, extremely low pricing.

I cant mention names but I have not heard of low pricing as of yet. The rates I'm seeing are over 120 per hour. with areas of over a million in annual revenue.

Did you bid to low?

Wallmart/ usm

We received an RFP yesterday at around 2pm saying we need to get our numbers in by end of business TODAY. WTF give us at least 2 days to get our numbers together! The manager from USM tells me all other contractors have had there numbers in already. Why, we have been in there system for months. If I didnt email them yesterday morning most likely they would have not even called upon us. Looks like we would only have around 10 stores in our area.

As far as sweeping and snow plowing, contractor fellas are very mad.

These fellas never submitted because they didnt like the suggested pricing. No one I know has gotten suggested prices.

Maybe this was a good move by USM to know who low ballers are. Guys who bid under suggested they rule out!!! LOL

The guys who bid above are the ones serioulsy looked at?

Well, I put in a figure that I felt we could live with and didnt look back, if we get any of the stores then thats great, if not then no biggie, there is always next year.

I kept my figured the same as texted and we will see. If it comes through life will be difficult for a little while

Don't know what USM is asking for because I never got anything from them even though I should be on there list but as for Walmart as they did around 5 yrs ago there asking for the unattainable. +.A guy from the Midwest called me just a couple of days ago and told me that they wanted the used water carted off site.

Another ridiculous RFP it looks like and the guess is there going to shoot all offers down the toilet and thank you for your bid and it will go back to the hacks for $300/store.
Good luck on that one.

300 a unit would be a dream

In another thread I talked about how my wife saw guys washing the sidewalks.

I used to be a manager at that store, and a lot of people still know me. I know all the office girls. I found out the store manager is not happy with them at all. She asked if I wanted her to help me get set up as a vendor and I said yes. She also told me the pricing these guys are charging. I won't say it on here, but it was more than $300.

Now to get in touch with USM.

I'm sure USM is making more than $300 a store on Walmarts. Maybe some of the subs for USM are only making $300 a store. Depends on how much of a profit USM is making off of each store and how much they are charging.

Has anyone that is bidding on the Western region RFQ with USM for Wal-Mart's received an email or a phone call yet stating that have been awarded the stores/counties you've chose to work in?

By the very agreement they would not be able to say.
