Walgreens going national or regional?

I just spoke with a district manager at Walgreens about trying to get possible 26 accounts in my service area and was told that he is holding off any bids regarding pressure washing and window cleaning demos until he hears back from corporate about possible having a national account like rite aid and subing out all the work. Have any of you that have walgreens as accounts heard anything about this or do think he is just blowing smoke up my $*&#&@:confused:(. Let me know your thoughts.

they are going with a national service company do them and they are only paying here 125 per location for the store fronts windows gum removal and cob web removal the drive thru also the dumpster area they are the worse to deal with i will not do them for that price they are out of there mind
 
Who are these national companies and how do they expect to maintain quality control over the properties?
 
And Rite-Aid. I did one of those for awhile and that was $125.
That one was not to bad, it was just the front sidewalks, took about an hour.

The Walgreen's locations in my area look terrible. Drive thru's have puddles of oil, sidewalks are always filthy.

I will be out in between a couple projects today and take some random picture and post them.

Not the 86 I do, but yes the other ones look horrible, we service 7 15 & 30 days depending on locations.

Take Photos Jim, if they are my units I apprecieate the help.

Walgreens is not going to a national contract for PW, not in PHX


You misunderstood, we all have master service contracts and they are not allowed to use you unless corp approves.

It has been a large improvement over the last 17 years.

they clean twice a year is what the maintenance superintendent for our region explained to me and that usm services got the contract i dont know if ti is true or not but i will not do what they want for what they pay those store are nasty around here that is for sure good luck if any one gets them.

No walgreens in Phx Metro get done any less than 30 days
 
Ron how do you suggest I get approved by corporate so that I can move forward with these accounts?
 
Thanks Jim, let you know if those are mine. We do around Half, the others are divided up to four other Companies.

I'm not offended Jim, my employees Screw up. Hired a guy to manage the west side.

He went to the Atlanta Roundtable, his name is Mike.

He will be cracking down on West side, we needed to hire someone from all the expansion. The person running the west was on Maturnity, she will not be returning now.

Thanks for the heads up because if they are not my locations I will get them.

Walgreens has actually hired a few service providers Nation Wide
