Walgreen’s,
Each area is broken into districts, maybe 10 or 15 store per district manager. The general managers have the authority to hire you. However here are a couple tips.
1. Contact the district manager and receive and approval to be on the current vendor list.
A. Being on the approved vendor list will mean a lot. One you can be in the in store directory when the manager are looking for this type of service.
B. The district manager is going to want contract pricing. X amount per store not to exceed a certain dollar amount.
C. Get the name of the contact person that sets new vendors up. Usually they have assigned this to manager that’s climbing the corporate ladder.
2. Vendor Lists, there are three type of vendor lists.
A. Approved vendor list where all your paper work is in order id numbers ins. ect. Pay by check but you are listed in the company directory of approved vendors.
B. Regular vendor list witch means they have your tax idea and pay by check. You list only with corporate accounting.
C. Cash vendor you’re a one-time user. They pay you cash and keep no accounting of you.
Sometimes requirements to be on the approved vendor list are required. Relationship needs to be established, the time you have been in business or the time you have currently work for them with a good track record. (Knowing some body helps, establishing a good relationship with a GM or DM.
Warning: Walgreen”s head people are Aware of Damage to concrete caused by pressure washing. They will terminate you if they suspect you are removing gum improperly. The managers nationwide have been train because they have dealt with this problem. The reasons they like Paveclean may not be because they are completely sold. It may be because they have had sidewalks destroyed in the past. (Just my opinion of the situations not fact.)
Here are stores in my area that has been completely destroyed by pressure washing contractors.
These blemishes that look like gun shadows are actually etching from improper gum or stain removal.
