How much of your roof cleaning is paid for by warranty companies? Do you market that the warranty companies will pay for it? If so, how? I've been thinking of advertising it on our website that it is an option. If they dont have to pay for it, its less likely for them to shop around. What do you think?

We actually cleaned a shingle roof last year for a customer that contacted the shingle maker about his warranty. He had to remove 2 shingles for send them to them for testing. His warranty paid for his cleaning, it was a win-win stuation for both of us!

I woke this morning to an email from a customer yelling about how I voided her warranty because I didn't rinse well enough, according to her. I guess the manufacturer rep is going to come to the house, swap out a couple of shingles for testing, and she claims if manu finds any trace of bleach it will void her warranty. Has anyone ever heard this line before?

I don't know manufacturer. Customer emailed me the AMRA (?) recipe for cleaning (which we all have seen), which includes sH and TSP, yet she claims the roof manu will void if there is residue of the sH or TSP. This makes no sense.

BTW I got new laptop, haven't been to the board in a while, and it is acting all squirrelly (the laptop, not the board). What browser do you guys prefer?
