Horrible Story be careful Guys working around Power lines
Huntington Beach - A man washing windows at a medical office building in Huntington Beach was killed today when the equipment he was using came into contact with a 12,000-volt electrical line, authorities said.
The accident happened at about 6:30 a.m. at Beach Boulevard and Newman Avenue, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department.

Wow thats horrible

Horrible, the guy started on fire. They said the pole was aluminum, would the non meatallic poles be safer?

That is such a tragedy.

I have seen pictures back at the refinery when people got electrocuted but not while it was happening it is is always very graphic when you see the pictures.

Okay, I just saw the video. I'm am literally ashamed to be an American right now. We just watched a man burning to death. While just the other day a freaking dog got run over and it played all over the national news with it's "companion sitting on the road next to it with the dead dog BLURRED OUT!

I, personally am sick of being part of this society. I'm sick of unwanted unborn children being murdered with no justice while the newborns dumped in trash dumpsters make headline news.

I am ashamed to be a part of this vile generation.

May God have mercy on us.

Vince the story was the same because I believe it was the same place. This was today

Tony I posted the story because I think we have to prevent this. Gloves , turn power off, Blanket the lines. Awareness is needed.

You missed the one Carlos posted on the two guys in the lift pouring water on Each other trying to stay alive while there Skin was burning an smoking. They at least made it to the hopsital. This poor guy Blew up.

I remember the one a few weeks ago about the dog Tony. Just a few days ago I watched a high speed chase live involving a tow truck. It's all about ratings for the news stations here in Los Angeles.

That building isn't getting a very good reputation if they have 2 window washers killed in a year.

How about if someone came out with a type of pole that you wouldn't get hurt if you came in touch with a power line.

If you are looking for a safe pole to use around electrical wires then you will never find it. Fiberglass is the closest thing but I'd never want to rely on that. If wires are near a job make sure they have been deactivated so you can do your job safely. Otherwise walk away - no job is worth your life!
