Water in oil (my first attempt at seal replacement)

I have and AR dir drive pump (4gpm 4k) and water is leaking between the head and gearbox. The oil also looks like it may have some water in it. I checked out the AR website, and the fix looks pretty straight forward. My question is, what parts do I need to replace? Are there any special tools I will need? Thnx in advance.

You are going to have to have seal kit. Probably high pressure seals because the oil seal on the low end is meant to keep oil in, not water out.

Email me with the pump, model # and all pertinant info. I'll send you documentation and directions on what you need to do to change these. follow thos directions and you're in business.

Chris, you need to check the plungers carefully for cracks, too. AR has brown plungers and cracks are tough to spot. Take the plungers off and get into a good light source. If, when removing the plungers, you find water inside on the plunger rod, chances are good that there is a crack. Replace all plunger hardware (o ring, backup ring and both washers). Unless there is extreme wear on the brass retainers, you shouldn't need to replace them.
