Water Sprinklers

If you were cleaning a roof by yourself, do you think it would be possible to use a lawn water sprinkler to keep everything wet on the ground while you are applying the chems? I don't always have a helper, but it seems like this would work.

Sounds like it might work, presoak plants, use a weaker mix, do a section of roof at at time, and run the sprinkler.

Mabey if you use a long pvc type sprinkler with pop up heads to where all side of house will be getting wet sounds like it might work.just leave it on while you spray da roof.

It will work if you have good water pressure at the house. but I would still tarp around the valleys where you will have alot of run off. I have done it before with no problem at all.

It is a very good idea to use sprinklers. But I do not have any particular experience regarding them. I will feel good to know about your experience to wash roof with the help of sprinklers. But be careful, it is difficult to maintain sprinklers.

I think you're looking at this all wrong!!!
Hook the sprinkler to you chem pump, place on roof and let it fun for 3-5 minutes (or to achieve the gallons of chem you typically use + a little extra to compensate for the sprinkler being new to all this!), after set time, switch sprinkler to fresh water and let rinse. All the while, sit in a comfy lawn chair with lemonade in one hand and hose in the other. Aim lemonade at your lips, and hose at the perimeter of the house!
Do a quick walk of the roof while removing sprinkler to look for any parts that might get missed. Work at night so customer doesn't loose respect for you!

Or hook a lawn hose sprayer to the back of your belt so it is spraying the ground behind you while walking the roof.
