Looking To By A New Power Washer And I Am Wondering Which Brand Or Brands Are Top Of The Line.

Yeah But Wht Company Makes It Delco, Landa, Etc.?

I've Noticed That A Lot Of Companies Offer The Power Washers With Briggs & Stratton Engines. I Personally Have Never Owned A Power Washer With One. I Have Always Bought With Honda Engines. As For Pumps I Like General The Best.

who makes it dosent matter. for cold water machine you have an engine and a pump thats it. Get the engine you want and the pump you want. who puts the pump on the drive shaft and slaps it on a metal frame dosent matter.

Im Actually Referring To Hot Water Pressure Washers. I Guess I Didnt Specify. BUT YOUR DEFINITELY RIGHT ABOUT THE COLD WATER PRESSURE WASHERS.

I agree with Russ.
I don't expect the local guy to be quite as cheap as a mail order house.
But I will pay a bit more to support the local guy.
especially when he takes good care of me.

We have a Landa 5-3500 Hot/Cold/Steam 310' Degree's - OUCH

20 HP Honda Engine
5 GPM
3500 PSI

Nice rig Nicole!
Down here in Florida, these Boyz ain't playing.
8 GPM Hot water is common down here, and two, even sometimes 3 of these Skids on a trailer is not real unusual.
Well 3 - 8 GPM Hot Water Skids IS a bit unusual, but there are many dual 8 GPM Hot Water rigs around.
It is VERY competitive down here in Florida.
A whores market really, to be honest.

I agree with Russ, local for major purchase if you have someone compete. if they are jerks go elsewhere.
I ALSO AGREE LOCAL IS THE WAY TO GO BUT THESE RETAILERS REALLY UP THE PRICE AROOUND HERE.

I bought a Magnum trailer unit from Benson Enterprises in Knoxville. I brought it home in January and it now has about 350 hours on it with no problems. Kohler 18 HP engine, General TS2021 pump, Baldor generator. I liked that the fuel tanks were large, it can run with the burner going for 8 hours without refueling. The trailer was built by Benson for the rig and is fully boxed steel. The only downside to the machine is that with the trailer design I have to put most of my tools and chems in my truck but that hasn't been a problem so far.

NICE SET UP!

i called a landa retailer and they want around 1500 to install everything. i like the landa pghw hot water.

Assembly is important too. Just because it has known engines and pumps, does not mean it will be a quality dependable unit. There are a few companies out there who over rev engines and over clock the pumps to get higher performance from smaller items.
Push things at max or over and it will break sooner.

That was another thing I liked about the Magnum. It is set at 3000 PSI at 5 GPM. That pump could go at least 3500 PSI at 5.5 GPM. These guys set the RPM on the motor to get the correct psi/gpm and then lock the throttle down and cut off the throttle lever so it always runs at that speed which is below full throttle.

I WENT AND LOOKED AT THE PRESSURE TEK PRO SKID MOUNT AT A DEALER. I HAVE TO SAY I WASNT REALLY IMPRESSED, IT JUST DIDN'+T LOOK LIKE A SOLID PIECE OF MACHINARY. THEY WANTED 6 GRAND FOR IT. I GUESS IT'S A TOSS UP BETWEEN A LANDA OR AN ALKOTA.
