What kind of container do you use to transport your equiptment in?

I use a 45 or 50 Gallon rubbermaid blue container that has 2 wheels so it can be wheeled around. But lately one of the plastic wheels just broke and fell off. I went to look for the same container again and could not find it anywhere. I originally bought it from Walmart about 2 years ago for about $25-$30. It fit my 100' Garden Hose, 50' PW Hose, Wand, wand attachments, toolbox, and any chemicals I needed and still had room left over.

What do you use as a container to lug everything around in?

Where did you get it, or where could I get it?

Around how much did it cost?

I have already looked at: Walmart, Home Depot, KMart, and Target.

im not sure what your looking for but a plastic 55 gal drum strapped to a cheap handcart is one idea.

er, um, uh... A pickup truck...???

No really.. We have two large Rubbermaid totes that are anchored to the trailer deck. We keep our possibles in there. The trailer is 6x12 tandem w/ elec. brakes and heavy springs/tires to carry the load.
FWIW, get a tote w/o wheels.. the heavy duty kind like you see for contractors at Home Depot or Lowes... if not it's just something else to leak or break at the wrong possible time.

On board we have:
The wash rig, 300 gallon water tank, chems, 300 ft supply hose, 250 ft pressure hose, spray tank, 5 gall. buckets, blower, broom, rake, shovel, mop, extension wands, gas cans, tool box, rain gear, med kit, lunch kit, and water cooler...

Mark,
Could you post some pictures of the inside of your box.

Always looking for ideas.

How do you like the truck?

I'll have some pictures soon. I'm doing a few thing to the truck this weekend.

I guess what I meant was if someone DIDN"T have a trailer.
I have a pickup truck that I use. But I can't keep my equiptment in there. So every day I have to unload and load the truck.
The 50gal container with wheels on it was perfect.
I'm open to any more ideas

A topper on the truck would keep you from having to load and unload...but for what you'd pay for that you could get a small trailer, or for not much more than that a used 5x8 enclosed. I ran across a used (in perfect shape) single axle 6x12 enclosed Haulmark trailer for $1200.00. Wished I'd had the cash.

Is the reason you can't keep stuff in the truck security, or weather? A topper isn't all that secure, but with a padlock installed it can be fairly secure. You could probably find one used for a couple hundred bucks.

The machine you're looking at is going to be awfully heavy to unload every day, at the end of a long hard day.
