What sealer do you use for deck of pool?

I couldn't find this question in search.

I have a customer that asked about sealing the deck around her

pool. The deck is the pebble kind. It needs to be cleaned first of

algae and dirt (many trees). I am sure some of you have run into

this!

The pebbles are coming up was her gripe. So I would guess

sealed to make the rock surface friendly for the feet. I wouldn't

think glossy. Just clean and smooth!

Thanks!

Find out who did the work ask them what you could do. Sounds as if needs patching before sealing.

That is why I asked the question.

What do I do?

What do you use to patch and what do you use to seal?

Or who or what company sells these products?

Thanks from your friendly rednecktex,

Ike:rolleyes:

Any crack filler I have used looks a little different than the concrete (if that is a problem). Don't know how to resurface an aggregate surface effectively and cheaply. Regarding the "no gloss" look, use a high solids straight acrylic - no styrenation. You can find locally; also believe Steven Rowlette carries. You will need to decide if you want a tinted sealer or not.
