I run 9.3 gpm and 8.5 gpm and use 2.5 on my 36" maxim (4 bar) and use 5.0 on my 28" big guy (2 bar). It might be too light for that much flow.

This is for the guys who use 8gpm. I cant get my classic to stay on the ground I have a 3lbs weight and am using a 5.0 tips

Real men dont have this problem !!:D

I figured it out! (I use the whisper classic) I changed out the original hose that came with the classic and went to a 3/8 whip hose 6ft with a 90 degree joint going to the swivel and ran a straight pipe instead of a gun. This increaced the flow and is the reason the damn thing would not stop hovering. To get it to stop I went to the 5.0 tips with a 3lb weight and it still hovered. Tonight I moved the 90deg and the hose from the 10 oclock position to the 12 oclock position and now it stays down!

I use 8gpm + 5gpm = 13gpm on my two bar Maxima 36"

Nozzles are (2) 25 degree 6.5 gpm
Hi Mike, did Spencer ever get that monster rig working ?

Nozzle sizes are determined based on GPM and PSI. Below is the chart that one of our vendors supplied. If your machine is a 8 GPM, 3500 PSI machine you should use an 8.5 size nozzle for general wand cleaning. To determine which size you need for a surface cleaner, determine how many GPMs are used for each nozzle. For example: with a 2 arm surface cleaner you would calculate using 4 GPM and 3500 PSI which is a size 4.5 nozzle, for a three arm bar you would use approx. 2.5 GPM and 3500 PSI which is a size 2.5 nozzle...and so on and so forth.
