There are fords with cummins engines, but I think they are the 650's. I loved my 2005 isuzu npr, my choice in pickups though would be dodge because of the cummins. I used to turn wrenches for a living so suspension is not big deal. I would also make sure I got a manual.

Toyota trucks, I see them on the road lots, almost never pulling anything or carrying stuff though. Imports are known for their 4 cylinder engines, not their bigger ones. If Toyota put.a 4 cylinder diesel in a tundra or smaller truck they would have a good seller.

You can get whatever you want when you get into the F650 and up.

I prefer trucks that last. I have had far better luck with my Fords lasting. Every Chevy but one that i havw owned had to have a new engine put in.

Hands down for me its the Fords with the 7.3L Diesel engines. The best engine alone that I ever had was the Dodge Cummins Diesel Engines that get great mileage and run forever.

Chevy's Duramax is not bad but there nowhere near the Ford 7.3L or the Cummins Diesels.

In looks alone the best truck I ever seen is one of those Ford F-650 Pickup with a Cummins Diesel.....my dream truck that I plan on buying when I retire to pull my boat that I also plan on buying when I do retire...IF I ever Retire:shocked2:

Chevy for self maintenance, I just can't stand working on a Ford.
