Where do you store your equipment?

The last few years I had a rental yard space but this past year In one of my cost saving moves I sold off some equipment and brought the rest back to my house. Every day this equipment went in and out of my property to go to work but my neighbors were pretty good about it. Since I have two driveways I had the space that I needed. We set up at the end of last year that Tent set-up thats pretty heavy duty and in the winter I store some of my equipment in there. I use to store my Swabby trailer in there but since I just sold that off and got that brand new White enclose trailer that tent space became storage. I am going to sell that white trailer which you'll see in my next post so I can put the money towards a gooseneck trailer. Thats going to be one powerhouse of a trailer but thats for another day and another post.

Good looking trucks!!!!

No problems keeping equipment under the open tent?
'
No problem. That Canvas is about as heavy duty you can get for a set-up like this. It blends nice cause its green. Usually what I'll do is back up on of the enclosed trailer closest to the tent so snow will not get blown in there. The sides are protected from the weather by the fence and in the back there is a small Radar Trailer and fence that kind of blocks the elements from getting in also.

I grew up in minnesota were I would keep the keys in the ignition of my cars just so I wouldn't loose them.......The city I'm in now is a different story.
Was just conserned about you keeping your equipment under the tent!
I don't miss the snow one bit!

Keep everything at our shop. Been nice to go into a heated space to work on equipment, mix chems etc. No more winterizing either.

We store our rig in a Lock-up storage facility, I have always kept my rig out of the elements, especially in the winter when it drops down into the 70's....Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

This is why we didn't mind paying so much for our house.

First we a located in the very center of Las Vegas:

Second we have 2000 square feet of office/warehouse space ATTACHED to the house. along with enough parking for a lift, two trailer rigs, three trucks and more truck/car parking on the street if needed. This alone would cost us more than $3,000/month if we leased space offsite.

Plus it's nice to have a twenty step commute. :lovies:

I am like Tony and John T., I have everything parked at the house, not too much more room back in the back yard but once I move a building over to the side, there will be some more room for a few more trailers. hahahahaha

Like Michael K. I rent a warehouse space in an industrial park. Paved parking lot and fences security yard on the side, Im on the end of the building. I have office, bathroom and 200amp electric service. $500.00 / mo. plus utilities. I can park everything inside except trucks.

I know ...... its a killer deal.

Problem is, my family members think it is their personal drop off area for "Can I leave this here for a while".

My brother had a deal like that but he was paying $800 per month, you do have a great deal!

WOW! $500 a month here gets you an "executive suite" about 10x10! :smile-us-down:

I love the south - our stand alone garage, two bay (with lift) storage room & office space - one lot over from our house..........$200/mo includes electric :)

Looks like you have the most storage space yet Greg, that is a lot of room!

You could park a large fleet of trucks there, maybe start a truck wash there at the house!

I have a 40X20 shop and 6 acres for storage. Its nice to just walk out the back door and get in one of the trucks.

Thats the best you can get !!

I keep mine in a Bat Cave hidden from the outside world. Only a chosen few know where it is located. :neo: :dirol:

Hey Mike Nice set-up!!! That would run me here if its heated at least $2000/month if not more.

A friend of mine has a Yard space about the size of what Mike is showing and that cost him around $700/month and thats all outside.
