Does DI water really make things spot free? Is it necessary when doing fleets? How often do you have to have it recharged, is it after so many gallons used or what? it it expensive to have?

It does make your water spot free, as long as all the dirt is completely rinsed off.

The hardness of your water determines how often it needs to be recharged. This is a huge variable.

RODI does the same thing and you don't need to recharge much at all. The system is more complicated and expensive though.

Do a search on the subject, lots of good info.

I use RO water for fleet washing. only in the rinse tank though

What the others said. It will make your life easier. Call me if you need a local Water company that won't rip you off. Some of them require HUGE deposits, etc.

By the way, you live only a couple of miles from me. I am at Lindsay and McKellips.

Yeah I think I saw you the other day at Golden Spoon on Mckellips and Stapley. I will have to give you a call some time...

That is possible. I have been there once or twice.
