Who's buying stock?

Most likely Mutual Funds for retirement in 30 or so years. Not quite sure yet. I am meeting with my financial advisor this Saturday. He was saying that historically they can gain anywhere from 10 to 12% annually.
 
Shoulda bought afterhours yesterday!

Heard that the market was up at or above 900 for the day around noon p.s.t.
 
You could also invest in bullion, guns and ammo and be just as good if not better than the SM.
 
I bought some ConocoPhillips last week.....about half way down the big fall....guess I didn't predict the bottom very well:)

So since purchasing, my investment has fallen about 10%-15%.....not countiing what happened today, as I haven't checked.

BTW, I don't typically invest in stocks, just funds. But I'm allowing myself a little money each year to try and have some fun with and hit a home run.

I bought stocks in my own company. I am the proud owner of 100 shares of NOTHING! :( Actually I'm done with stocks... Made a bunch of $$ a couple of years ago and then I lost a bunch of $$... :mad: I don't like that game too much!
 
I am about to buy another house. Bought 6 last year and sold two of them, the other are doing well in rental income.

There's money in real estate.......ever herd that?

Love houses right now. I bought 7 last year, and sold 5. I and renting the other 2 and looking for more now. Havent bought any in '08, but plan on ramping up in '09 since I believe we've hit the bottom, or close to it in the RE market.

Ditto, i still have 1 rented. Real Estate will always come around again, i think it will take a little longer this time.

At least you have something tangible in real estate, and not a bunch of paper.
