July 7, 2010 letter to the members of IKECA
Greetings!
Change is a constant in business for growth and prosperity and change has come to IKECA.
The IKECA Executive Committee and Board are very pleased to announce the selection of Fernley & Fernley, Inc. as our new Association Management Company.
This selection was made after an exhaustive and thorough search process. We received 30 initial responses and 17 written proposals to the RFP. In April, we met in person with the top four candidates. Fernley & Fernley was the top choice, due to the increased capabilities the company offered and the superior customer service they displayed. During the process we checked references for the top prospects, and a large part of our decision was based on the comments regarding the consistently high quality support they receive from Fernley & Fernley.
The IKECA Board and Members will still have two main contacts whom we will deal with on a routine basis. These individuals will get to know IKECA and us as people and professionals. We felt it was important to maintain a personal touch and were not willing to sacrifice that aspect of customer service for the increased capabilities.

We will miss Glenn Fellman, Tim Shaw, and A&A Communications and their involvement within and support to our industry. We wish them well; many of us have long-standing personal and professional relationships with Glenn and his colleagues. On behalf of IKECA, I thank Glenn and his team for their support and advice over the years.
