Because my wife is high maintenance!

I love being outside playing with water. Enjoy making things look new again and seeing customers happy. You know the money ain't bad either!

I pressure wash because if I didn't my machine would just sit there... It looks better sitting at a job site .. plus I like to here the motor run.. I like getting attention, I like the WOW factor when I clean stuff for people ,, espically nasty ,greasy, slimy, vent hoods.. but most of all I like all the Benjamin's in my wallet...

I have not started P.W. yet except for my own houses. But I clean sewers with a 1500 x 15 gpm sewer jetter. ------- WAY TO SAY it John. How and what would you fellows/ladies use a set up like this for?

I started my business part-time in 1984, bought out a fellow that started in 1969. I had my last real job in 1986. I didn't fit into the Corporate environment very well.

I enjoy having the freedom and challenge of operating a business. I think I've got a few more years left before passing it on to someone else.

One of these days I'm going to figure out how to make that "Real Money" so many folks talk about! :)

I have been washing since 1994. I still enjoy the look on the face of a customer when they see the finished product, money helps too.

Wish I could say for the money, but I ain't made none yet. Love of the biz? not in it long enough to say that either. can say this. BEATS THE PISS out of a nail gun and saw !!!

Started business washing part time at the age of 21 , and have never looked back , love everything about it , working outside ,meeting new people , and make good money . I realy feel bless to have the this chance

I voted because its easy work because the real reason i do it is not listed. Ihad no clue how much i really enjoyed this business untill a couple months after i started. I began in the fleetwashing sideof the business for car lots. Soon after that i began thinking about residential services and commercial services. After a couple of jobs with a surface cleaner and rinsing with 8gpm i was hooked. I have not looked back yet.

When i was younger i used to love to take the water hose and rinse off the driveway. After rinsing a parking lot one day it hit me how much i truly enjoy this job. This is the reason i wash

It is not a bad job, sometimes it rains or is freezing cold but those times are not but so many times a year so the rest of the time it is good weather outside.

I have worked outside most of my life and am used to it so when I thought about pressure cleaning, it kind of fit.

It is a nice feeling when the homeowners see how clean you got their property and are very happy, those are the great moments.

Love being my own boss, money is way better than working a 9-5 and i can go surfing/fishing/diving/hunting whenever i want. just drop off the crew and go!!!

Got into this business because I was tired of cubicles/computers/offices/bosses and reports. Have to say that I was very influenced by a friend already in the PW business. Long story short, I thank God for doing what I do today, I love the business, love to see a smile on my customers face and a honest "thank you" when job is done also like everyone else, LOVE THE MONEY THAT COMES WITH IT.

I got into the business on a fluke. I was aware of the powerwashing business and had a neighbor that wanted to sell his equipment and get out.....well when I told my wife I was starting my own business she didnt flip out, so I thought here we go......2 yrs later I have learned alot and enjoy the WOW!!! you get from customers when you make their old vinyl look new again...their nasty drive and side walks brighten up. I love to do work when the customer is there and can actually see how black their concrete is when you run the surface cleaner over it. I also like the drunks that come out of the bars at 2 am and rid in shopping carts wanting you to spray them down with water.....Like one of the other guys said,,,who wouldnt want to get paid to play with a water gun.
I also enjoy seeing my business grow, it has been very gratifying to me.

I voted for "I do it part time" because I guess that applys best in my situation.

My company's focus is more on concrete and concrete coatings, so we do more of those jobs, and PW jobs when I get them.

I already had 2 PW's, and a surface cleaner to prep concrete.
People would ask me if I could pressure wash this or that while I had it out.

Plus...Im used to PWing as being the just the 1st step before I REALLY have to get to work... :D (on a deck or driveway or something at least)

Respect due tho.....2 story condos, and long fences in the middle of what seems like nowhere CAN be hard work.....

On a side note...... RUSS....I noticed the Prattville sweatshirt in your demo vid and looked over and saw thats where your from.......
How old are you?
Im 30.
I lived there when I was in 7th grade.
Id have to look up the exact year...but I went to Prattville Jr High..

Well after working in the RV industry for 20+years as a tech&body and paint man I got fed up working for the Man. I sold my home and bought a new one and the person i bought that from was retireing so i bought his business as well overall its been a great experience. Besides i dont have to breath in the fiberglass anymore:D
