Will adding 50' of hose make a difference?

I have two reels with 150' each. We dont use both at the same time much and when we do usually one is closer to the trailer and one is using the full length of hose. An extra 50' of hose would be nice so Im thinking of taking 50' of one and moving to the other but I know there will be a pressure drop. Somebody said 1psi/1ft is a good rule of thumb. machine is 3500 at 8.7. Will it make a material difference to add 50' to one reel (mainly surface cleaner)

I keep 100' on the reel and (3) 50' sections loose and add them as needed. 50'ers are easy to roll up by hand.

Im a stickler about sloppy rolling. I like my hoses to look like a roll of coins as it sits on the reel. Thus you can fit more hose.

Funny my guys are the same way, they want them perfect on the reel....ME...not so much. lol

I'm just thankful when my guys remember to take them when they leave the job and don't let them fall off going down the road!

I'm exaggerating. Both of those only happened once last year.
