Winter jobs

I have been pressure washing for about 3 years now. It's a great job and money is good over the summer. Being from the Chicagoland area winters are hell. I want to turn pressure washing into a full time job. I'm looking to hear from pressure washers in the cold weather states. What do you do in the winter time?

I hear some guys do well offering a snow blowing service during the winter, I wouldnt know first hand as we dont have that problem down here!

Hello P & E,

Most of our work is industrial and commercial. We do much the same work in the winter as summer. Our winters are not quite as bad (harsh) as yours but we get our share of winter. We are south of you 150 miles or so just outside of Danville, Illinois.

Fleets, flatwork, exhaust systems, etc. All of this type of work is on a repeat basis year round. Every 2 weeks, once per month, every six months and once per year.

Give me a call sometime, maybe we could get together and talk shop!

Dan,
I'd love to reply as I'm laughing so hard, but I just don't think I could bear the shame of getting my hand slapped again.
