Wiring behind generator panel

So I took apart my generator (Porter Cable PH350is) hoping to pull the honda engine off of it to use on a sprayer, well I gave up since its seized to the shaft and now I can't figure out how to rewire it. There were two red cables going into some cylindrical thing, and one red and one green going to the breaker circuit that is tied into the gcfi outlets. I can't figure out which red ones to clip into the respective spots. Google searching for a diagram came up with nothing specific enough. Anybody have any experience with this?

Firstly, it's not seized. It's a tapered fit which wedges itself on really well, but also makes the engine useless except for a generator. I take it you don't have the owners' manual?

That makes sense. I do have an owners manual, I've even found part diagrams online, but nothing shows the details I need. I have not found a thorough repair manual though.
