I'm going too start setting up my Ford cargo van. I just got my skid and s.c. ..
I would like to see your set up if you are rollin van style! Let me know what has worked for you, and what didn't work.

Also, I'm gona try too build a home made reclaim system. Same deal on this. What works and what doesn't.

Can't wait to see some pic's.
Thanks..

This is my buddy Trey's. I think most of his customers call him "Pimp Daddy"

that looks like someone copy and pasted the rims on along with the lettering..lol

hey chris , i have built several van setups i have no pics but i can help you with your setup...

Still need some help!!

Hey guys thanks too those who have replyed.
I have had a very busy last couple of weeks. Got married, and moved.
But I have told the wife the honey moon is over and time too get to work.
My questions for you guys are,

1. take a look at the pics and give me your advice on venting the blower..
- I have read on a post, that i can't find anymore. That you should not
put a 90 in the vent. It causes too much static. Is this true??????
or sould I run it out the roof??? I would also like to sell the van as
soon as I can afford another set up. So I don't know about cutting up
the roof.. What would you do??

I had the skid turned around facing the the back doors. The heat from the engine burnt a hole in the paneling. My falt but before I put the skid in I pulled back the paneling and there are a bunch of wires to the rear tail lights andrear a/c that I would have too re-wire. So I just turned it the way it is.

2. So my question is were in the van would you put the skid?????
I would also like to put some kind of a tank and hose reels back there but am just running out of room. What size and shape tank would you recomend???

- I have a 28inch surface cleaner that is just taking up lots of room.

-from the skid too the back seats measure 5'6"
Let me know what you guy's think? I am a newbee and my first set-up.
Just trying too get it right....

Also I would like to come and spend a day with someone that is willing to teach me a few things. I would be willing to drive a few hours.. I am in central cali........

Thanks for reading and hope to get some .......

Chris I'm one of the least experienced guys here so take it for what it's worth. But I think you are trying to put 10lbs of stuff in a 5lb box. Do you realize that many hose bibs will not supply enough water to keep up with your skid unit? There is a reason many have a tank and that's not to haul water. With hose reels, chemicals, brushes, poles etc you'll end up with way more than you have right now. Plus you want to be able to reclaim? Where are you gonna put it? If it's in your budget I'd really consider a small trailer. Then you don't have to have a vehicle dedicated to just that. I'm guessing you bought your skid from someone that probably doesn't know much more about it than you. Not criticism I did the same thing.

I'm with Rick on this one. I have seen rigs in van's but they were bigger vans. Maybe a 6 x 12 trailer would be much better. If you don't have the money right now, try trading something for it. If you make the deal look good enough they will take it.

I would like to get a trailer but would have to be inclosed. I live in a condo and dont have a garage big enof for all the toys, trailer and wifes car. Things in fresno seem to disaper over night. I just bought all the equipment you see in the pic's and am running out of cash! Just trying to work with what I have. I know it's gona be crammed.......Thanks

to be honest that setup can be a potential fire hazard ... not to mention the fabric is going to absorb all the fumes from the machines.. keep in mind if you spill gas as well ..you will be driving down the road with you and machines in the same compartment ... the fumes can be potentially hazardous to your health .. i would definatley suggest that you go with something that is a little more commercial .. i have much experience in building this type of equipment .. if you have further questions you can give me a shout at 917 295 0620 .....

ps i forgot to mention the stack for the burner is very close to your roof... i cannot stress to you how you need to go with something else

using a van everthing looks jam in there

Thanks for all the imput. I guess I really don't know what to do besides start over... just working with a tight budget. And would really like to make some money before I spend more on another rig. or trailer.
A.TRKWASH I will give you a call tomorrow
Once again Thanks.......

i got some ideas that would help... if that was your only route .. no problem .. would be glad to help u

Ashley, Thanks for the reply. I can just asume that when you were just starting out, that you knew everything!!! Thanks for being a jack ass! For your info. I just have everything laying in the van and the reason the pics are there, is so that maybe you could give me some advice on how too set it up?
For the ather guy's that are willing to help. Thank You
