X jet question

We started our first comm. stucco building last mounth. I took spray bottles to the site to test the hydrofloric and also house mix with bleach and soap. As we had to x jet chems on the walls and rince down we saw a big differnce in the cleaning. Question. if the x jet says that open the ratio is 1.5 to 1 and you are using a 50/50 mix, Do you have to use almost straight chems with the x jet to get the 50/50 on the wall. We are new and learning the ropes or this year.

THANKS TROY FOSTER

you can use the little proportioners to get the mix right ...... if you are using 12.5% sodium hypoclorite your mix is too strong at 50/50 for a standard house wash ,give us a tad bit more on what youwant to wash and what you are using chemical wise and maybe we can help come up with a good solution for you

this is a stucco building on block wall costruction. It has black water stains from old leaky gutters running down the 25 ft. walls about every 30 ft. What was used, hydro. acid 4to1 then xjeted. The house mix is 1 gal soap 2 gal5% and 2gal h2o also exjeted. these mixes I tested with spray bottles and It seemed to work well but after using the xjet the stains are comming off real tough. any advice would be great. thanks troy

Can't chlorine damage the widows?

I heard chlorine can damage the windows and can breakdown the paint if some chem is left behind. I work in West Palm Beach FL. I have a building needing serious algea removal. I'm afraid I will damage the windows with overspray.

The draw on the X Jet is better with smaller GPM Machines.
Jeff LeCours, who I have named the "King of the X Jetters" uses a small home depot 2 GPM machine JUST for X Jet duty!

As far as windows and paint goes, it should not be a problem at the low concentrations you are using.
Of course, it is wise to always wet the windows and paint down before you start spraying.
This dilutes the mix IF it should happen to overspray onto the paint or windows.

My advice, IF you can, is to keep the windows well rinsed.
This should avoid spotting.

we use 10.5% sodium hypo diluted 10 to 1 with some soap for house washes.
the xjet has a porportioner that cuts the chem 10 to 1.. just pore your chems in strait full power and let the porportioner do the work and you will be fine. 10.5 % sodium hypo diluted at 10 to 1 is fine for houses and windows but of course you need to rinse well.
