hey guys,

....anybody know of anywhere besides Northern that sells yellow PW hoses?? Their prices were a little higher than i would like to pay. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Good question. I also bought my yellow hoses from Northern. They were much more expensive then Envirospec non marking hoses. I have besides the yellow from Northern, 200'blue 2 wire 4500psi hoses from Envirospec that I paid around $89 for 100' sections this was last year, and I just purchase another 400' of there grey non marking hoses with the same rating of 2 wire and 4500psi for $79 per 100' sections. You can't beat that.

I don't know about you, but I already have enough hoses, its just that they blow-out or the connections go bad. I take mine to my Landa dealer and they repair them for about $7 per connection.

I think that there are other shops that will repair hoses also.

The reason why I purchased so much hoses as of late is because I'm in the process of setting up a second vehicle for powerwashing. I will post before and after pictures of this vehicle when completed. Its a 1987 ford extended cargo van that I paid $800 for.

A real dump with a very sound engine and tranny. The after will be a complete transformation that is if my back doesn't blow out working on this project. :)

John,

Yes, thats true........i am very lucky, I have a hose repair shop under a 5 minute drive from my garage................however, I find that once a hose gets a hole in it, it seems to happen again and again. I'm in that situation right now.............the hoses I am running right now are now two years old, and they are failing on a regular basis. It's a waste of time, I'd rather replace them and not worry about it for another year and a half.

I agree, unless it's from damage to the hose, once they fail , they usualy fail again pretty quickly, If I have one that fails I might get it fixed, but then I put it back as a spare, or for those times when you need that little extra hose.
Why does it always seem that you end up 5ft short, then you have to think, do I get out another section of hose or do I try to move the truck closer. After all these yrs I still never get it right the first time.

Hose

I purchased my first three hoses from northern 2 years ago. I have 2 in use now because one busted at the hose reel at the bend. I have decided I am going to but 3 more from them because of good luck I have had with the ones I got. They are heavy hoses and have had been stretched across streets where heavy trucks where running over them more than a few times. I like them and have to go with what I know. To answer your question NO I do not know where to get yellow hoses.
