Zep???

I know a guy that was using it years ago and also a product called super flash.

He would buy it by the drum and mix the powder as strong as he needed it and said it was about the best out there that he could find for concrete cleaning.

Back then he told me it was about $500 for about 400 or 500 pound drum of powder but this was over 5 or 6 years ago.

Yep, $500 for a 500 pound drum. Let me sit down and figure that out...Carry the one, look at it sideways, swing the cat over my head.
Yep, looks like a buck a pound from Zep where Chris is, too.

I have not used it before, just mentioning that a friend had used it in the past.

Tony, does it work as good as your local cleaner or the secret cleaner? Just wondering.

With the right amount of caustic it works good for what I am using it for. It works just about as good as straight caustic when mixed right but lessens thr likelihood of burns

Thanks Tony.

These concrete floor pics on here that i have seen have way to much foam in them.I cant imagine what that stuff does when it goes in to the reclaim. Why dont you guys have these so called chemist make that stuff with low foam surfactants in them rinse time will be so much faster.

Tony, Zep has a much better product. Morado Super Cleaner. I use this and it works very well. About 8.00 a gallon. Try a 5er, we mix it 7 oz per gallon.

I will try it eventually , but I have enough of the other stuff and caustic to last me this whole year. It doesn't take as much to clean coils as it does to clean concrete.

I needed a sodium metasilicate cleaner for evaporator coils with restrictions on caustic or acid use. No, it doesn't work as well, but I have to do what I have to do.

I got this one because is has a pine sol smell and people are used to equating that with "clean". It's a light smell and can be easily eliminated with rinsing, but it doesn't leave any room for any kind of chemical smell.

Mixed with the right amount of caustic this is a powerful cleaner that works better than caustic alone and leaves a slight clean smell. It works better than caustic alone on tobacco stains.
