Exactly, a lot of DEQ's require job site vehicles to be clean of mud before they enter the open road.

Yes, they use it to clean the undersides of the equipment for a variety of reasons. R & R out of Montana sells equipment like this. They seem to have a number of different models to choose from. Their website is:

I have even seen a demo on their website using similar equipment to control noxious weeds. It seems like it would work good.
