Wax for vinyl

JL Pressure Washing
Is anyone using wax additives or applying wax after washing vinyl?

I have never used any waxes but have a request from a property and looking to see whats out there. Whats the best way to apply, during washing or after etc etc.

Help a guy out here please. Its for several duplex buildings. I know Steve rowlett use to sell some but havent heard much about waxes lately.

Does it really improve the lustre of vinyl. The vinyl isnt oxidized, shutters are.

Thanks in advance
Jeff

hey jeff,

i use plexmaster that i bought from paul last year when he was an envirospec. this stuff goes a long way because you make a 55 gallon drum of concentrate and you can dilute the heck out of it. i apply it after the house wash using either an xjet/m5 or downstreamming it. it give the vinyl a nice shine to it and i love the way the water beads up on the glass. it also contains a mildew inhibitor. i cannot tell you how long the lustre is there but i have washed a roof once on a house that i had washed and waxed a month earlier and the water would still bead up on the windows. if anyone has another product that they recommend i'd love to know about it too.

take care jeff,

rando

So I can just Xjet on everything, windows too? Cool, I would like to know how long the shine lasts. So time wise as fast as I can apply it and I'm done?

Thanks Rando

to apply it jeff you simply have to just spray in on just like you're doing a rinse and don't worry about missing a spot. after i have it applied then i spray some water only to even it out or to spread it to any area that i may have missed with the plex. it may sound time consuming but it's not. since you are still the xjet king jeff you'll love pulling that thing out to apply this stuff. remove your hose to do the light sweep rinse and watch the water bead on the glass. i'm still curious what russ johnson has to offer. he has never let me down.

I've been using Russ' stuff (Super Spray Wax i think its called) on our occasional premium house wash and I love it on the vinyl, really easy to apply but I hate how it leaves the windows. It looks cool to see that water bead up when its wet but then when those drops dry they are very visible spots so we always have to squeegee every plate of glass after the wax. Anybody have a way around this? Or another wax that won't do this?

Bleach wash has a cheater wax in it already so you won't need wax at all not only that you can also use it for your vechiles at the end of the day to protect corrosion from sh or any type chemicals that you might use
