I have a brand new 12 volt hot box hooked to the battery of a 24 horse honda that only fired for about five minutes. At the time (yesterday)I thought that I ran out of diesel and paid it no mind.So today I Fueled it and realized It was near half full.I ran it again same problem, five minutes quits working.Over the course of a half hour of cussing and kicking things it would run sporadically off on on for a few seconds. It would fire when I let off the trigger instead of when the trigger was pulled like it should until it quit working completely, wont fire or anything. :D It was a b1tch to mount and now the thing don't work. My wife hates her new hair cut and my mother in laws car wont start AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! HeElp ME Please.

You can also check the ignitors. They will not light the burner if the electrodes are too far apart. Turn everything on and watch for a big clean spark (watch out for burnt eye brows!) They can be adjusted closer together if need be. I carry a butane lighter stick in case my quits working on a job. Check for good solid electrical connections like Jeffrey suggested and make sure your wiring is not backwards that ignites when the wand is squeezed.

the small battery on the cold water unit will not keep enough charge to keep it powered, I called Dustin and told him to use a larger battery. Been there and done that already, I had the same problem

I have always used a heavy duty car battery so I didn't consider that. Good call.

Nope. The hot box wont blow, fire or anything. A 500 lb piece of scrap metal!I'm waiting for my mechanic to return my call. The distributer has offered to pay the bill. I loathe trouble shooting equipment but I seem to be doing alot of it lately.Imagine my delight when brand new equipment doesnt work. I could never be a mechanic.I;m going to the gym before I scratch my eyes out of my face.

Dustin, I know exactly what you mean! At least the dealer is willing to help/Pay. I bought a Alkota (NEW) A 8305 and payed to much and to top that off I have had problems with it every since Ive had it ... new micro switch, unloader, rebuild pump, and burner problems!!!! Have not had this machine long(under a year,,about 8 months) when asking the dealer about this the only thing the person would say( ITS OUT OF WARRANTY)
