I have never used these. Would these replace a quick coupling?

Thanks Russ, they should be perfect for connecting hoses. I have tried quick couplers with black plastic on the outside but nothing like that will work with a four banger and I doubt 22mm will either. It can get tough changing tips with soapy hands and a coupler thats getting hard to work. I have thought about keeping something with me that people used to use to open mason jars.

The replacement o-rings they have out for these types of connectors are junk. Usually once the o-ring starts to fail I replace the whole connector. I've been using them for the last 7 years and will never go back to quick connects.

Hey Vince, what are the advantages of the 22mm connectors over quick connects? I have been thinking of trying the 22mm for a while.

The advantages are.....

1. They last longer overall
2. They don't get stuck when trying to connect or disconnect
3. You don't have to replace the o-rings in them.

I normally get about 7 or 8 months use out of them even with the same factory o-ring in them.

Russ, what size o-ring would those use?

I tried them about 10 years ago and did not like them but I have an idea that they might work to make happen but I did have a problem with the o-rings getting cut back then and not sure why.

Can I buy those o-rings locally or are they special order?

If they are special order, how much are they Russ?

Thank You.
