adding casters to a surface cleaner

Hi,
I have a 20" landa water jet...

I love it except for one thing, it doesn't have the 4 caster wheels type of thing.

To improve its maneuverability, could I take off the large wheels in the back and add rotating ones?
Anybody have tips on how to do this?

trial and error, if you can afford it.

Trade you my hydrotek hydro trwister surface cleaner, it has 4 casters.

I will trade you a 24" stainless steel surface cleaner that has castors for the surface cleaner you have, I would like to have tires on the back for this one job.

I personally like the hydrotek twister with the casters on it. It's alot easier to move around and to get in/out of tight places with it. The only thing that sucks is when you get really skinny sidewalks and the 28" is too big to fit on them.

I get new casters for mine twice a year from Grainger..the bearings seem to go out fast.

The hydro twister is a little too big for my machine, and all the uneven concrete we have here.....

You've already got all the casters you need on that machine. The wheel on the front moves in all directions. All you have to do is lift up on the back wheels just a little bit and you can move it side to side just like any SC on casters.

Yeah I guess you're right. It's not that inconvenient.

That surface is pretty sweet. Are a lotta guys who clean sidewalks and storefronts going with a 20" or is that considered small.

I saw Ron's video and it appears that he makes very good money with a 20"...

Nope, Ron is a low baller...:sarcastic::rotflmao1:
