Anyone using Responsibid?

And that's the point Repsonsibid isn't really a marketing tool. It's an estimating tool. You still have to get customers to your site somehow. I think some guys are confused on that point.

Here is a screen shot from my email. not to bad. Its one of our slowest months of the year, it will be much higher during peak season. I find that the majority of these come through at night when they couldn't really reach a phone person anyway.

Just another tool in the arsenal..

We also have live chat on our site this year, we close a lot of jobs via that as well.

Its pretty Simple your own Estimating Page. 1200 bucks or even a `100 over a few years will cost a bit.

Now His product is good because a few of my good friends use it and tell me he a honest guy.

I'm still a Little scared to share customer info with anyone

I have nothing against Responsibid, I think its a great idea for Curt to make a lot of money and I am proud of him. However, from a web developer stand point and small business owner stand point, I think he is charging incorrectly for the estimating software. It should be a one time fee to have it on your website for the life of your site. Granted he makes more money doing it the way he does it now. And that is good for him. But I can not justify spending $100 or more a month when I can create an estimating form that works similar for a flat fee and own it for the eternity of my website. Also, because I am in Arizona, I am not for having my customers bids go through his online server because he is a window cleaner himself in Arizona. So he has access to all of my customers data. Not saying Curt would steal my customers, but the fact that he has access to them makes me weary. I like the idea and I think Responsibid was built VERY WELL! Great visualize aspects and eye candy. But is that necessary to get someone an estimate? Its great to have, don't get me wrong, but I don't think its mandatory. A customer looking for pricing is just looking for pricing.

Realistically, you can have something like or similar to Responsibid built on your website from a web developer that understands AJAX and PHP coding. And I happen to be one of those web developers. And since Curt is my competitor in Arizona I decided to build my own similar Responsibid. My site's estimate form page is not as great visually as Responsibid but mine cost me $0.00 a month. Check out mine: http://azpowerwashpros.com/quote_pressure_washing_phoenix.php

Click on Residential like you were getting a residential quote, and you can get a quote for any type of residential cleaning. I get customers filling out my form all the time. I purposely do not give quotes for commercial or industrial cleaning on this because I have to show up to bid commercial projects. Anyway, if anyone wants an estimating form put on there website I can easily develop it for you at a fraction of the cost. $500 including installation. That is like 4 months of Responsibid or less and you own it, not lease it.

Here is my website design site: Website Design Phoenix or email me at info@websitedesignphoenix.com

Also, I am pretty sure I can develop something for KEC guys if they help me with pricing too. But I am just a one man show so for anyone that is interested you got to give me some time.

That was how I felt. It wasn't so much that it is a monthly charge because I understand everyone wants mailbox money. I just thought it was too high of a monthly fee for what my site would generate. If it would cause my site to generate more that would just be icing on the cake and reason for me to stick with it. I am sure the cost will go down eventually as they recuperate upfront expenses. Ty, I am waiting on some other changes to my site and then I will give you a shout.

On another note I wonder if you could help Josh Davis with updating his site?
