Cleaning Downstreamers after jobs.

yes agreed great ideas everyone....such a basic answer which I overlooked. I keep spare 5 gal. jugs onboard so I will fill one with water and drop my bleach mix and soap mix hoses into that and rinse the house while using low pressure. I usually use a 4 way jrod holder with different nozzles so no issue there. Lately I have been using one of those push/pull hi low twist fan spray nozzles for house washing from P-TEK and mounted right at the gun with no wand.....must admit I like it alot.

Tom, I didn't know you were still washing houses. I think you're the only other guy I've seen on PWI who is working in The Villages. You hadn't been logged into PWI for 2 years though, and the other day I saw I trailer rig with the Oxford lawn logo facing the inside of the trailer. You making good enough money there to make it worth your while? I've pretty much given up on The Villages. The low balling there is so bad that people that live there actually believe that they're being ripped off if they pay more than $50 dollars for house wash.

yup still here. sold that trailer in April of last year....think I need to say something about those asigns to the guy as you are not the first to say something. As far as prices and whatnot...we have been here for years so no we are not the cheapest running around and there are plenty of people willing to pay for a "real" wash with proper soaps. No not getting the same price as those up north and Im not going any further into this pricing debate because every just bashes Florida...but yes we are still here and still washing..and hardly a villa gets done for $50, maybe if its vinyl and if they are also a lawn client, and on a 6 month schedule....blah blah blah LOL :) You will soon see a van running around as well as the piclup with our stuff as Im going for the van option next with all the stuff inside and out of the elements...this sun is killer on everything.
As far as not being on these BB's I just get bored and bounce around haha...but do know wherte to turn when I need advice!!

SH-fresh valves

2013-03-20 15.00.49.jpg the top valve is for the chem. Plug it in at the beginning of the day. At the end of the day unplug and plug into the fresh water supply until you are running clean. Saves on injectors and hoses all my rigs are set up this way

Sorry but I must be anal, I rinse everything every time, even between jobs. It certainly cant hurt and my stuff last's a long time, I just throw it in a bucket of water and open the ball valve. The same goes for my roof pump, I never leave it charged with chemical. Have u gotten strong mix on your hand where it turns white? and u go running to rinse it off? Imagine that sitting in your pump day after day. Nothing is cheap, take an extra minute and rinse it out. Carry On !!
