Big money in Baltimore right now. We have high murder per capita rate. I met some guys years ago that did this in Southern MD. Good money, big liability. I would call your local police, DOT, fire and coroners office first to see if there is any demand that needs filled before pursuing the hazmat training. When looking at new ventures like this it is always a good idea to call your prospectcs and find out their needs so you can build a competitive plan of action. The mistake most make is they set it all up just to find that there is no room for them or their price or their specific service. This type of cleaning is really great in that you already have access to all your potential customers and already know who they are. Make the calls and find out what they are paying too much for and where they need more service.
 
Another thing you might want to check is if any licensing is required. In Arizona, if you are going to get the city contracts, they are going to require at least a remodelers license, because they are going to want you to make repairs to walls, and other general contracting items.
