Hi,
I have been using the general pump K1 flow regulator for some time, They work great but loose psi too soon, the rebuild kit is almost the same cost as the whole reg. What flow reg.you guys using? I run apx 3500psi apx 5.5gpm. I dont care for the K7s that I have used before.
Thanks, steve

If you don't need the soft start feel of a flow controlled unloader, the Pulsar is a very good valve, rated 8 gpm, 4,000 psi. About $47.75 or so.

I want to stay with a flow activated reg. I dont like pulling the trigger when your on a ladder and getting jolted with full pressure, way too dangerous, ill never use a trapped reg.if I can avoid it. So what are you guys using? how about the pulsar flow activated reg. anyone use them?

I use the pulsar and like it, the green spring unloader is a good one also but twice as much. My vote pulsar best bang for the buck.

I've been using K-1's on my 8 gpm/3000 psi rig for about 6 years - and a K-7 on my old 4 gpm/3500 psi rig for 4 years -and they usually last about a year. Once I actually tried a pw with a flow unloader (at a roundtable), I would never go back. Not having a kick every time I pull the trigger and not having to wrestle 200' of pressurized hose all day is worth the price. Safety and convenience for me.
