Metal rust of efis

Hey looking at a big project. There is various degrees of rust stains on Efis/Dryvit. Now these stains are from metal railing on balconies and the stains are running down from that. Some are very dark, I have found in the past Oxalic doesn't work real well on this kind of metal rust. I am wondering what products are out there that may work. Now this is Efis/dryvit and to aggressive I fear will take the coating of. I need some kind of restoration product that will work or at least reduce the stains

I have no problem telling a property that a stain can't be completely removed and may need to be re coated, but if I can find something that works that would be great

Thanks for any and all help

Jeff

Take a look at Safe Restore. I have used it some on EIFS and there were no problems. It does a good job on rust.

Try a bit of aluminum brightener in an inconspicuous spot. If it doesn't harm the eifs, it'll kick the rust stain's butt.

Northern Tool sells - in addition to Gutter Zap - a product called BRIXX. Its supposed to be the equivalent of a SureKleen product for cleaning new construction brick. All I know is that it kicks rust's a*s on brick - it will do the same on Dryvit (my favorite surface to clean!). Rinse well. I have used it on Dryvit for sprinkler rust and rust "flecks" with 100% success - and much faster than Oxalic.
