@Saument, no worries, Like I mentioned, I don't do many houses more commercial, and the houses I've done simple green actually worked like a charm and is plant safe which the homeowners in my area love. Also, the siding on houses are different, some are textured, some are smooth, and some are just odd so there are some that has mold in the "texture" of the siding and doesn't come off as easy.
I learn everyday, that's how I succeed. I owned a software company for 10 years and learned something new everyday, so running a business and learning something everyday is nothing new to me. I do the powerwashing at nights and weekends for the commercial stuff but now I'm getting calls for houses this summer so, I'm starting down that road.
I'd rather ask questions and look "dumb" instead of not asking and destroying a house and look bankrupt.![]()
Yes the SG will help the cleaning process if you are going to pressure wash it. The thing is, is that it doesnt need to be pressure washed. About 10 seconds after the bleach hits the mold its gone, and you just need a low pressure tip to rinse with. Its called "Softwashing". You dont run the risk of damaging the siding on a house, or getting water behind it. Plus you can move ALOT quicker. I did pressure wash a few houses and they took me 4-5 hours. Now our average is around 1 hour 15 minutes. Plus the bleach is so diluted that you dont really run any risk of damage if you water before during and after the cleaning.
If they ask what youre using just tell them its a mild bleach solution. Its the only effective way to KILL the mold so that they have a cleaner house LONGER. If they say anything about "The enviroment" tell them that bleach is a sodium based cleaner, which is natural. I mean honestly, we drink it in our water, and wash our kids cloths in it, but they are worried about the "enviroment". 99% of people wont even ask you.
