I recently acquired this used surface cleaner. It works fine, but should I ever need any parts I will need to know a few things about it. Does anybody know what brand it is? What swivel does it have? All the tags are scuffed up bad enough that I cannot read them.

for the most , parts other than handle and shroud can be gotten anyplace. If the shroud goes your getting a new one anyway. they almost want as much for the replacement as a new unit.

I haven't seen one like it either, but if it works...

I cleaned up the surface cleaner, to the best of my ability and from what I can tell, the sticker on the swivel says "Sidewinder Super Swivel". Is that the brand of surface cleaner, or is that the brand of swivel?

Thanks for the responses. Now that I know what I have, I can find parts when needed.

I can't believe they want $799.00 for one.
And that is for that one on that site! Also keep in mind that it is on SALE! Dem dar surface cleaners ain't what you call ahh,, cheap! Trust me I know.

I'm not sure why a 20 inch surface cleaner costs about the same as a 20 inch 1.5 horsepower rotary floor scrubber.
I mean, the scrubber has a motor, not just a swivel.

I guess a lot less surface cleaners get sold than floor scrubbers.

Bunn how are going to use that on hoods???. dh

Ya Gonna take all the hoods down and flatten them out and then reassemble them and put them all back up? HEY! Where did this extra bolt come from?

Believe it or not, you can buy the motor for a floor scrubber for less than some swivels.

OK, I will admit it...

Gas prices are sky-rocketing, and in an attempt to make the most out of every stop, I have been pushing for concrete cleaning at my KEC accounts. Gotta do whatcha gotta do...

Why not? You're already there. Get the building exterior every 6 months, too.

If you ever need Sidewinder parts, let me know.

I may keep an extra gun and swivel on hand. We will probably talk tomorrow.

Dang 800.00 I can build 3 surface cleaners for that price that will probably last longer .. But anyway if it was free or inexpensive .. Seems to be a good deal... If the swivel ever goes out , go back with a mosmatic swivel , they are not very expensive and they will last forever... GOOD DEAL
