1. State time,
2. Air temp of the night,
3. Humidy if you know it
4. The BTU's of your unit
5. What was the temperture set at the time of cleaning.
6. Make and model

A picture say's a thousand words !!!

2am temp 55 degrees unit 24hp with a 8gpm pump hooked to a Hot Box water heated to 190 degrees.

I have to say you are the man,BTU's 1.1 million out of 1 machine that is incredible. you must run 1/2 in hose. We should all close up our commercial accounts and give them to you. That is amazing. WOW

I would like to add, why are you always comparing your equipment and trying to impress us low lifes of these BBS. I would think you should be so busy with work and kicking the low balling POS in your area out of work. I am 3000 miles away from you, but if a man of your qualifications and equipment came to Florida you would take over the world. You would be Jim@takeovertheworldofpressurecleaning.com.

I would also spend time on getting your website working. If I were you I would want to shout all over the internet that you have 1.1 million BTU's of power coming at you.

That looks like a 1.5 million BTU machine.

That is some impressive equipment. Do you have auto water recovery, or do you need to set up pumps and berms and booms to recover the water? It looks like the latter, since I do not see a vacuum hose off your surface cleaners.

WOW!Good tune by the way!:)
Dustin, You should make a video with you iron and match it against Jims and use the song " Can't touch this" in you video. LOL

Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I will check our website to see if it is working properly.

As far as shouting out over the world about our BTU's, we only want to show what it takes to get oil out of cement. A unit at 350,000 btu's cannot clean as well as 1.1 million under the same pressure. It just a fact plain and simple.

Just this past weekend we did a sample of two pressure washers. An All American Pressure Washer and ours. The All American was set at 210 degrees. Our was set at 200. Ours at 200 shows 5 times more steam than the All American with the same GPM and pressure.

I guess what I am saying is this. BTU's is King when removing gum or oil. So many times the manufactures say their units can hit steam and/or maintain a 200 degrees setting. When side by side, it is a different story.

So many times we have been asked from people of this site if we could give an example. I thought this thread would be a good way to educate someone who may not know the true difference. I know 19 years ago, that person was me. 19 years ago, I was the one who thought 200 degrees is just that, 200 degrees.

But the photos we have prove differently.

If you have a chance to increase your BTU's, you may not need all of that pressure that so many think they need when it comes to flat work. As far as water recovery, we have noticed a 39% evaporation rate. Thats 39% less filtering and 39% less capturing of Grey Water.

Something to think about !

Jim,
What irritates me is the impression you give that we as lowly pressure washing contractors can't clean concrete and we should all get out of business.
I personally have a lot of commercial properties that are thrilled with the high level of service I deliver. They have dealt with the companies in the past that told them the black grease and oil stains wouldn't come out of concrete then I showed them it would.
In all honesty your equipment is in a different class than a normal hot water skid and I feel it's unfair of you to make a comparison. The whole looking down your nose at us pressure washing contractors has grown old.

Jim, very cool effects on the video, what program was that???

Jim, another question, what company's out there make the higher BTU burners? Most that I have seen are like under 375,000 BTU's.
Thanks.

I used to have an Epps hot-water skid, 18HP Kohler 5.2GPM @ 3,000PSI 414,000BTUs, and it would throw some wicked steam out from under the surface cleaner.

How's that for steam, Jim?
