The dreaded gasoline poll!!!!

I need to get some of that Texas diesel shipped here.

This morning it was $2.10 for reg and
$2.61 for diesel
 
I have seen $2.10-2.27 GAS
 
$2.07 here in Louisville. Across the county line (3 mins.away) $2.02

Fahrenheit 9/11 was a funny movie. But I've seen Tom Green movies with more facts in them.

Bush has little effect on the price of gas. Who does have the effect is OPEC. If President Bush did have a lot to do with the price of gas he would have lowered it to $1.00 a gallon before the election to insure his win. It would have been a landslide. Even Massachusetts would have probably gone to Bush.

What we need to do is drill up in Alaska. I don't care what those tree huggers say. If they want to start paying for my gas I"ll stop the drilling myself. And start taking oil from Iraq for cheap as sort of a way to pay us back for the sacrifices our soldiers and taxpayers have made. Also we should start building Nuclear Power Plants. That would give us less dependency on Oil driving the cost of gas down.

No one complained about Jimmy Carter and his connection to the Peanut world when he was President. (Though I believe he is the reason we are in the mess now). No one complained about Hollywood getting rich when Reagan was in office. And let's not forget the Kennedy's. They were about as crooked as crooked can get. They got their power from Bootlegging.

But suppose Bush is connected directly to all the oil companies in the world. Welcome to Capitalism.

Here in GA I know it was about 2.09 but I'm afraid to step out the door. It's probably gone up since I wrote this. Even with that I can't complain too much. If you adjust inflation Gas isn't at an all time record high.
 
2.06 in middle GA. (and Jimmy Carter didn't grow peanuts, that was his brother. Jimmy used it b/c he was worried with what people would think if they knew he really had a worm farm. He tried peanuts and could make it work, so he raised fish bait. Alot of the pictures you see of him now on a farm are actually on a family friend's peanut farm. Jimmy was more of a liar than Clinton and bush combined.)

WHERE TO BUY YOUR GAS,
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO KNOW.

Gas prices are skyrocketing because the supply is not meeting the demand. Oil supply is controlled by OPEC which is primarily controlled by Saudi Arabia. Because we live in an oil oligopoly (a small number of companies control the commodity) which makes it easy for the OPEC countries to gouge us. If we simply sit back now and take it, they will turn the screws even more. Frankly, I’m not at all happy with the high prices as they are now, much less inclined to watch them rise even more.

We need to demonstrate to OPEC that we are NOT going to just lay back and take it. We are going to resist their sinister and greedy attack on our economy.

We can’t boycott all oil companies, we need to have our gasoline, but by selecting the appropriate oil companies that represent OPEC the most, we can force them to lower their prices. When they do that, the others will be forced to follow suit.

If we act together, we can all have the gasoline we need and bring down the prices to where they should be. Below is a list of oil companies that market Middle Eastern oil in America and another list of companies that don’t.

Please help bring down gasoline prices by boycotting those oil companies that get their oil from Middle Eastern suppliers.

We won’t allow you to screw us without a fight.

It won’t cost you a thing. If fact, you’re likely to save quite a bit of money because the oil companies on the Middle Eastern oil suppliers list charge more for their gas already. Then, when the impact of the boycott takes place, we’ll all save substantial amounts.

The gas from the NON-Middle Eastern marketers is fine gas, I have used it for decades. So, you don’t have to worry about the quality of the gas.

All you have to do is choose the company you purchase your gas from correctly, and the message will get through. Help all Americans keep our energy costs at a fair market value. Stop the rip off.

From what I understand.......

From what I understand is that the supply is there, the demand is also there at record levels. At least that is what we are led to believe. I have heard that it breaks down to the refineries. The United States and the money loving oil companies have not built a new refinery since 1963.

Do we have long lines waiting for fuel ? No. So the oil companies are having no problems with keeping up with demand, Right ? What is the problem then ?

Everybody wants to blame OPEC. This is only because OPEC is run by foriegn companies (towel heads). Take a look at the stocks of just 5 major oil companies....They are at record profits for the last 2 years......So who's fault is it. I can understand if the oil companies were taking a hit and barely making profits but this is not the case.

Do I blame Bush ? Absolutly. This man has not said one word to the American people about the rising cost of fuel. At least have the balls to tell us were going to be screwed more. But yet he hides about this problem while he cuts every domestic program he can.

Have we forgotten "FOR THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE" ? Apparently he has.
