There was a huge report up near San Jose about GPC accusing them of unfair billing into the hundreds of thousands of dollars. I know locally they took over the graffiti abatement and the services quadrupled over what the city estimated from past experience.
I am NOT a friend of GPC.

I remember that. they were billing a seat on a swing set at 44 sguare feet.

Why can't the city just terminate their contract? I remember the story about GPC in San Jose also. The sad thing is nothing is being done to the company for basically stealing our tax dollars.

I know they are pretty litigious. Maybe the city is scared of the lawsuit. Theoretically, the city can, but there is often a LOT of politics involved. I.E. my attorney and lobbyist are bigger and badder then yours.
