    Water inlet filter.......is it needed?

Looking to hook up my new pressure washer and it will be hose fed. It's 5.5 gpm. 10-15 gpm is normal out here out the tap. When I check water out the tap without the inline filter (that came with the pw) I get 10 gpm. With the filter I'm getting 8.2 gpm. So here's the question. Since the...

Building a new pressure washer, comments welcome

So my current setup is 4.5 gpm 3000 psi and currently use 3/8 hose to reduce pressure loss at the nozzle. I want to go to 1/4 hose (this is for sewer jetting) and am seriously contemplating changing my setup. I'll be offloading this off the van and onto the ground close to my work area. So...

    Engine-pump combo...will it work?

Looking at a 25hp kohler command pro engine with a General TSF1819 that pushes out 6.3 gpm 4350 psi. I'm within spec for the formula but really close. Gonna use a belt drive. Will this work or should I increase engine size or decrease pump specs?

As I posted earlier, I'm a plumber. Situation is I use my pressure washer to clean drains and until a drain is cleared, sometimes there's quite a bit of watered down grease and sewage coming out. I normally just collect it up with a shop vac and then dump it down the toilet once the drain is...

    Can you explain turbo nozzle?

I know what they do, own several...what I don't understand is how they clean so well. I've been taught that a rotating nozzle that rotate above 500 rpm wont clean....I know the turbo rotates at 2500+ rpms and clean well. Why is it they're so efficent...spray angle?
