Another..lines left by surface cleaner

my mistake. The pump I have is rated at 3500psi/4gpm. Should I still go for a 15 degree?

Forgot to mention. I've seen post asking: are you using the surface cleaner like a lawn mower?

If not "like a lawnmower" care on sharing any other techniques?:idea2:
 
Teflon tapes purpose is to lesson the friction when tightening down the tip or fitting. have little or no value for sealing the threads.

Staying a couple threads above the bottom will prevent any of the Teflon tale from separating and possibly clogging or partially clogging your tip(s).

Jim growing up I always chuckled about 'old timer' plumbers and teflon tape - every one of them was die hard about the dope and every one said that friction thing. As far as I know teflon tape has been proven for years in every industry and I've had dope fail me more than tape but I think they're both adequate.
 
Red locktite does really well also instead of tape and dope. Keeps tips locked into position also on surface cleaners
