Bench advertising???????????????????

Golf courses are great places to advertise. We used to sponsor a couple holes at each of the local courses and always got good return. I think it cost about $400/hole and was good for two years. No better concentration of high-end customers than on the golf course. (Dang, I can't believe I just agreed with Pat)

It would be even worse if you agreed with me:)

For a $100 you can get a 100 18x12 bandit signs and get at least 10 to 15 calls a month.

In Houston Texas bandit signs are around but illegal. I tried them several years ago and got a few calls but the were from the low budget demographics so I quit using them.

Marcus Bandit signs can be a real pain in the azz. They do work if you put them out correctly. I put out about 20 out a week. Remember in todays world people use cell phone and are in there car with time on there hands. Why not call to get an estimate!

Art, people around here consider you a litterer if you put out bandit signs. The cities and HOA's actually instruct there enforcement to REMOVE them when they see them. They can't stand to see them in or near their neighborhood. Every area is different, but around here if you throw Rock Bags or put up signs, you won't have much success with them.

I do not agree Doug. Every home owner, State and town is different. Some people don't care. Like I said, Bandit signs can be a pain in the azz. But they work.

I tossed that idea out the window. It was a thought. Only way I could do it myself was to put on private property near the roadways which meant still paying someone for use of there property. I am doing post cards this season.

I think if you have some postcards profesionally designed by a Marketer, not just a designer, then you have a chance of a much better return on your money.

Seems like some business do better with some types of advertising but other companies do better with other types of advertising but only when the ad is done professionally, not just a pretty ad or an ad that promotes their ego.

Another thing, make sure your website is doing good or have changes done by guys that know what they are doing, not just anyone knows the good SEO stuff. My website has brought me my biggest and best customers and has brought me many hundreds of times the return of what it cost to be build and monthly hosting. My best marketing by far compared to yellow pages, commercials, flyers (not made by a marketer) and business cards.
