Bidding this

to bad ya didnt get it. looked like a good chunk of work. you probably went over it a few time but in the end your price wasnt to high if it was what you thought you deserved.
 
I would stake the place out and see how the other guy is cleaning it for cheaper. If he shows up with a 28' ladder to stand on to power wash with then grab a Coke, sit back and watch the show.
 
I talked with the gc and the project manager. He said the guy is not using a lift. They are going to let him do the first building and see how it goes. They want to know if I will do the rest of the job if he doesn't work out. But they want to discuss pricing since they felt my price was much more than they expected, despite how low his bid was. I felt it was a bit high when I submitted it, but, I've never bid anything like this before. Biggest thing I've done so far is a 37000 sq ft parking garage, 70 decks and 25 patios at an assisted living/ retirement center.
