I'm in the process of building my new rig and here are some pictures. I am trying to find a way to best mount my 2 surface cleaners (20 inch Whisper Wash) to the traier. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
What size trailer is that? Looking at building a trailer soon. Do you find it hard to fill up with gas and fuel with units on both side of the trailers? Why such large chem tanks?
Nice trailer, my buddy had one like that he hung the surface cleaners on the top. he had a shelf built with extruted metal that would hold surface cleaners, extra hose, wands you name it.
Like the guys mentioned, you can have some more braces put on the top or sides and put the surface cleaners there, just remember how high the trailer is with the surface cleaners on top for clearance like garage doors.
That is also a good idea of the hose reels elevated so they don't take up room on the side rails or floor.
Nice rig! The weedeater racks should work great for mounting the surface cleaners. It will also make them easy to get to on the side of the trailer. On my trailer rig, I mounted the surface cleaner on top of the rack.
Dang, I don't look at elevated hose reels as saving floor space. I look at them as being WAY easier to wind up at the end of the day. Just fo that it would be worth it for me.
Still not sold on hose reels. Figure eight wind down the length of the trailer, preserves the wire integrity, easy to pull, easy to put up. No parts to go bad, no leaks, no rusted frames. Just my take on them.
Mike V. If I had to do a figure 8 with my hoses at every stop I would have quit pressure washing a long time ago. But I am using 150-300' 3/8" hose and have as many as 15 stops per day.
Yes they are both 8gpm. The two tanks on the back are 65 gal. I use one for my SH house mix and the other for extra chem storage if I have a roof or a big job and just need the extra chems.
I like it.....good looking rig. Set up for commercial cleaning........I set up my trailer with the reels hanging from the top of the trailer too but on the sides. More for Residential cleaning........
