Chem Injectors

I used straight yesterday. I will
Play around with the formula to cut it down. I pay $1.69 for 11% so I'm not to worried. Except it will lay out a lot of chem in a short time. I put it in my trailer (open) and ratchet it to the back gate. Not hard at all to get it in and out. It's nice to have. I had a few bad concrete surfaces in the past months that I was having to hit the black spots with a pump sprayer after or break out the x-jet. I just don't like the overspray/mist of the x-jet abd having to worry about rerinsing turf or ornamentals. This spray is much easier to control.

That sounds good. I bought a roof cleaning kit from Pressure Tek a while back , but decided not to do roofs. So I have the whole setup just sitting there, battery and all. Paying $1.58 for 10.5 % fresh.

Nice. I have a 3.0 Shurflo. I'm thinking of mounting it next to my PW and connecting it the battery. Then plumbing a 15 gallon to it, to run chems through my HP hose, rinsing each time of course. I just don't have room for a 3rd hose reel!

Matt if you will reverse your process you will be happy.Lay a strong mix down first with a dedicated sprayer, let it dwell for 15 minutes and then break out the surface cleaner.Clean then rinse once you get the ratio down you will not have to re spray any of it.Remember get the product to the surface and let them do the work. Its amazing some of the people wait so long to get up mold that's been there for years isn't .

I've tried doing that on the black mold stains under the oaks. It didn't work for me. The only thing I could get to work is if I surface cleaned the area first exposing the stains and then hitting it with SH. It seems like you have to get the top layer off to get at the stains. Especially if there are green or brownish yellow stains on top of the black stains.

When you have certain tannin stains you must add some goodies to the mix.If you have some liquid caustic or some beads this is a great time to add to your mix.Once this is done the stains will be gone with the rinse waster.

I am going to try that when I set up my dedicated pump. I have a bag of NaOH flakes. That could be a time and money saver. The only problem is you can't always see the stains. But 99 % of the time when you see the oaks you know the stains are there. Some Palms do that too.

Thx Hal... I remember you and others that use a dedicated roof pump to lay down mix. In leau of Dsing... I so wanted to do it that way first......But I opted to go the DS route.... Creature of habit...... I knew I wouldn't get up the mold.......but it was a test. The next bad ones .... I will lay the mix down with the pump..... Dwell.. clean and rinse.... Man did the pump melt the mold away!

Anytime you run into stains on concrete that sodium hypochlorite has trouble removing, try using oxalic acid,...I've seen stains on concrete get worse after hitting with bleach and sodium hydroxide mix,...then I'd go to the oxalic and they'd fade away right before your eyes.

Good tip to keep in mind. Thanks Jeff!
