I was under the understanding that your post had been deleted, why was I under that, simply because the last post that it shows in your profile came from 11/20/09, not 11/24/09. So my thoughts were that it had been deleted, I figured even if it was in the members only area it would still change the date of your last post to show yesterdays date. So no problem here man, just stating what I could see at the time and saying that I thought it was crappy that your post was deleted.

Thats a good one to live by. Shelly and I can count the number of times on one hand in 13 years that we haven't followed that rule. It's a great one.

I always say don't join (any org) if a "reach around" isn't guaranteed in writing.
 
Here's the irony of all of this. Just a very small few know the truth about all of this and the question is do we let the cat out of the bag or do we give them time to correct it all.

I have a dilemma with all of this because alot of people have gave so much to the UAMCC. In one breath I think F them and expose them NOW!!! Then I think I have some good friends in there and they are trying like hey to fix the wrongs.

To put it out there like this....its a mess. Some of them did some Great work like the Ken Fenners and the Jeff Lacours(Even though we ended up at each others throats) so you have to take into account everything and I mean all of it.

The ED there needs to straighten up or ship out. If you look at all of the arguements look where they point to. The ED is a nice guy personally but he has lost his mojo...or somewhere he got sidetracked or....maybe this was his plan all along.

Either way don't condemn the ones who did do right by that org. Besides myself and Rob 99% of the others did a heck of a job by either helping or just being there and being supportive.

My finger is pointing and my head is thinking but my heart is torn. Live and breath something for aprox 22 months and you can see why me and some others are torn and it SUCKS!!!!!!!! I hope no one ever ends up with any org where me and Rob are today..I can't stress that enough.

All have a happy Thanksgiving.

Go over to the UAMCC forum where YOU can still see the post - use the right mouse button, scroll down and click the left mouse button on "copy", then come over to this thread and click "reply". Then, in a blank space right click the mouse again, scroll to "paste" and click on the left mouse button. Then click on "Submit Reply".

I see it this way John. It is his and he will do what he wants to with it and nobody or no group of people is going to make him do what he does not want to do, plain and simple.

People can complain forever but when something is owned by someone, they are the bottom line no matter what anyone or group says.

It sucks that many of you guys donated tons of time, labor and money out of your personal lives believing in this thing, maybe everyone was duped from the beginning or not we might never know but if I was duped, I would try to warn others before they lost their money because it is the morally right thing to do, some might not like it but you would not want your friends or family getting duped, me neither.

Most people out there never change their ways unless it is a life altering experience or a near death experience so the other 95% of people will just keep doing what they always do and hope for better results. People that are always early to work will always be early, people that are always late will usually be late all the time except once in a while but personalities never change unless it is something that affects their life in a drastic way. I don't think that people complaining about the ED is one of those things to make the ED change his ways no matter how many people want him to.

Ever hear the saying you are fighting a losing battle? A major uphill struggle?

Most people don't and won't change or for the few that do, most it is just temporary but most fall back to their old ways shortly later on.

If it was me I would cut my losses and let others know what is wrong either by pm's, emails, etc.... so you are not blamed for anything or you can post it here to warn lots of other people out there.

A couple years ago I got scammed by this online directory that ripped me off and I never got my money back. I posted their info on TGS, and a couple other boards to warn others because I did not want to see anyone else get ripped off. If I did not warn others and I found out about people getting ripped off then I would feel real bad because I chose to do something that could have prevented someone else from going through what I went through and could have saved them from getting ripped off.

Sometimes the morally right thing to do is not viewed as a popular thing to do but it is the right thing to do.

As a police officer I am sure that you do the morally right thing every day and even when you are told to do otherwise, it is probably a very hard thing not to do but you still want to do the right thing.

The question is what if a year or two from now and there are all these people constantly complaining about this org, how they got lied to, ripped off and so on and so forth, thinking back to today you could have done something about it, do you think you would feel bad, good or happy about the decision you made today? Just something to think about.

Great post Chris. A few of us are debating right now on what to do but your post hits all of it and I mean all of it right on the head. And think we argued over the years and all about orgs...mainly the UAMCC. I have to say it sucks to be on the wrong end of an arguement but on this one I have to say I was.

Jeff, I beleived in the UAMCC. I still believe in it if you guys would wake up.

I have asked you a YES OR No Question. I dont want a we are working on it.

501c6 are started right Away...they are practicing over a 3 year period to qualify for full benifits. After the mark they are revieved if they qualify for more!!! We understand all that, what the question is why are you not right now?

Why are you waiting and why cant you simply answer the question.

You have told many contractors and industry leaders it was a full 501c6...

The AG office says it much quicker...I'm also hiring and attorney for the contractors that are concerned about recent issues and not getting answers.

No Jeff we are not coming after the UAMCC, we want facts. I want the AG office to answer attorneys about questions. If I did you would dispute the findings. We are hiring a Lawyer for research. I'm not alone on the bill, many people including a lot of your own members are helping to pay.

If you just said the truth we could save a lot of money.

You need to stop with your accusations of attacks brother. If your a 501c6 and you represent me, get used to this. If your a private Corp. like the UAMCC was started and you tell me you are, I will stay far away from you, your private business is yours. But stop saying you represent me... ( you Will never represent me)

No one with questionable Back grounds will ever represent me EVER​

I have a question here, not trying to start an argument or anything but I was wondering about the people that joined the org under a lot of info that we are not getting answers to and finding out that things are not as they appear to be or were plainly misled.

Since people joined under the info given whether intentionally misled or duped, can they legally get their money back since they were misled to believe things, duped or told false info about the org? Not like a class action thing or anything like that but if enough of them wanted the money back could they get it or would they have to hire an attorney? What do you think?

Like I said, I was just wondering.

It must be pretty evident to a lot of people by now (based on another bbs)
things are heating up .

Some options would be for umacc to become a private organization in which case that would stop most of the arguing.

provided as a private organization they stop their mandate they represent all of the pressure washing industry.

or they can keep plotting on their way and expect controversey every step of the way based on their secretive nature and their "we dont have to answer to nobody.'

If a new group of people come in and change major things the old guard will be Sabotaging them every step of the way.

It looks like one group of people will be unhappy at any given time.

It will always be a defective organization no matter which group is running it.
