Faxing made simple!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You need to look on e-bay or Graigslist for and old version. The new ones wont do it.

Its will help Chris Keep in contact with the people he is visiting. Run Specials!!!

You have to start collecting numbers.

I wish I could remember the site, it lists the fax number free.

Hotels are easy because they have a fax number they give to anyone.

Man Ron that is an awesome tool! That will be awesome for me to send ads to hotels, apartments, etc...

Thanks for that video.

Great tool....I remember using the old Win Fax. In Indiana (last I checked anyway) commercial businesses are not able to go on the do not call lists. I know I tried :) I'n not sure is thats the case throughout the US or not.

2006 Indiana passed a Do Not Fax law effective 2007. You must have permission or have an EBR (existing business relationship). Business or individual. No registration on a list is required. $500 a violation. $1,500 each if you do it after being warned. Ouch!

I know you didnt want to talk about the legalities of it all. But in GA, and in EVERY other state (Federal Law) you can not do it unless you have permission OR you ALREADY do business with them. Heres a site that shows GAs law and explains the Fed law.

This is all I can find for Texas:

Fax Advertisements
Under Texas law, unsolicited fax advertisements cannot be sent between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. They must also include a toll-free number for you to call that will remove your fax number from their list. A business may not send you another fax once they send you written confirmation that they removed your number. Violation of this law is a Class C misdemeanor.

If you request removal from an advertiser but continue to receive faxes from them, you can file a consumer complaint with our office. Also contact your local district or county attorney about enforcement.

Finally, Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations ban the transmission of unsolicited fax advertisements. Report possible violations to them as well.

If they request from you in writting in Arizona the FCC can get involved. Its never happened just a letter from the local communications company stating there customer requested not to be on the list.

Your correct about commercial business I'm sure

Scott, I said I would not debate that. If your going to homes and or you do not address them they are unsolicited.

Keep in mind I work for these folks as I stated in the Video. This assist keeping in contact and sending special.

Also anyone I make contact with over the years has gone in this database reguardless.

Yes fed Regulations has changed over the years and at one point I stopped doing this.

I now do it legal and responsible.

We can find and quote laws all over the place about how its not legal.

Do Not Fax

Across the state, citizens have spoken out against unsolicited faxes which waste ink and paper purchased for personal and business uses. In 2006, the Indiana General Assembly unanimously passed a law that allows the Indiana Attorney General to take action against these annoying and costly solicitations.
Unlike the Do Not Call law, the Do Not Fax law does not require people to register their fax numbers. The law applies to every fax number in the state.
Hoosiers who receive an unsolicited fax and wish to file a complaint should provide the attorney general with the original fax along with a completed complaint form.

About the Do Not Fax Law

Exemptions
  • Fax advertisements sent to a fax machine with the recipient’s prior express invitation or permission.
  • Faxes which do not advertise the commercial availability or quality of any property, goods, or services. Examples: Issue Advocacy, Charitable Solicitations.
  • Unsolicited facsimile advertisements to individuals and businesses with which the sender has an established business relationship (EBR).

I posted that to show all I have to do is have a toll free number for them to unsubscribe, and only send between 7am and 11pm.

Thats a good thing...

Roger, You are fast becoming the Jim Gamble of the south. :p Legalities? Federal Law? What's happened to you Roger?

I bet you get $5000 per hood and your foam fills the entire restaurant cleaning the walls and the floors also. :D

I've got some company faxing me everyother day about signing up for a cruise. I've called and asked at least 5 times to be removed from the list and it works for about a month, then back to the same old thing.

Thanks to my wife's business we have a business relationship with almost everyone in Las Vegas. She's registered around 30,000 vehicles. That's more than 1 out of every hundred on the road. We use that as our out and have only been asked not to fax once out of thousands of faxes. We got our last 10k job from a fax.

Why won't the new ones work?

It seems like there has to be something new that will do that.

Good info to have :) I didn't realize they passed that into law. Were 99% residential though so I had know reason too I suppose. It's true about the soliciation though... we used to get 2 to 3 junk faxes a day if I recall back about some super deal on a vacation package or buy this stock crap.

As it stands though as far as telemarketing goes I don't think a business phone can go on the actual do not call list (for cold calling).
