Man Ron that is an awesome tool! That will be awesome for me to send ads to hotels, apartments, etc...
Thanks for that video.
Great tool....I remember using the old Win Fax. In Indiana (last I checked anyway) commercial businesses are not able to go on the do not call lists. I know I tried I'n not sure is thats the case throughout the US or not.
This is all I can find for Texas:
Fax Advertisements
Under Texas law, unsolicited fax advertisements cannot be sent between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. They must also include a toll-free number for you to call that will remove your fax number from their list. A business may not send you another fax once they send you written confirmation that they removed your number. Violation of this law is a Class C misdemeanor.
If you request removal from an advertiser but continue to receive faxes from them, you can file a consumer complaint with our office. Also contact your local district or county attorney about enforcement.
Finally, Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations ban the transmission of unsolicited fax advertisements. Report possible violations to them as well.
I posted that to show all I have to do is have a toll free number for them to unsubscribe, and only send between 7am and 11pm.
Thats a good thing...
I know you didnt want to talk about the legalities of it all. But in GA, and in EVERY other state (Federal Law) you can not do it unless you have permission OR you ALREADY do business with them. Heres a site that shows GAs law and explains the Fed law.
Why won't the new ones work?
It seems like there has to be something new that will do that.
Do Not Fax
Across the state, citizens have spoken out against unsolicited faxes which waste ink and paper purchased for personal and business uses. In 2006, the Indiana General Assembly unanimously passed a law that allows the Indiana Attorney General to take action against these annoying and costly solicitations.
Unlike the Do Not Call law, the Do Not Fax law does not require people to register their fax numbers. The law applies to every fax number in the state.
Hoosiers who receive an unsolicited fax and wish to file a complaint should provide the attorney general with the original fax along with a completed complaint form.
