Florida Roof Cleaning Experts,

I have no intentions of a fight, I asked a gent that cleans roof with alternative methods to assist on the BBS. He claimed to me people are not ready for change.

Ron, ask him to make a post talking about his system so others can see what he is talking about.

If it was not too expensive, I would probably give it a try.

I am not crazy about the caustic method as you have to use a little bit of pressure to release the stain.

There is another method or product that I will be trying soon to see how it works. If it works good, I will probably switch to that one.

I am very open minded about learning new ways to do clean surfaces faster, better or both and will usually give them a try unless it is just too expensive.

I know that there are many methods to clean a roof and everyone is entitled to their own opinion to which is the method they use.

If he will not post here, have him contact me or pm me his number so I can call him and I will listen and probably even give it a try to see how I like that method.

Thanks Ron.

I for one have always said that I am open to any and all new ideas and new ways of doing things especially if they are quicker and possibly safer methods. If I go to a resturaunt and don't like the food, service etc... I don't have to go back but at least I tried it and now I know. Someone else may go to the same one and love it... I don't think you friend should be afraid of what anyone thinks about his method. Kory made a good point- we all have our own way of doing things and we do what works best for us. Many of us have tried different methods from time to time and if they don't work we try another or just continue to do as we were.

Also, on this two way street, he may get feedback that will help him or point out negatives that perhaps he hasn't taken into consideration. Could be beneficial for him as well as us.

It will be "interesting" to say the least.
And as Mike points out, perhaps a leaning experience for all.
I can tell you from living in Seattle, Wa for many years, our way of cleaning roofs does not always work there.
There ARE other ways besides SH to clean roofs.
Tamko Roofing had a Re Klaim roof cleaning system that was ALCOHOL based.
Hydrogen Peroxide is another oxidizer that will clean, it is just nesty stuff that can blow up on your trailer.
There is Lithium Hypochlorite as well.

Jet Clean is in Washington. I haven't seen him on any threads though.

Jeez Apple, that sucks that your website has dropped to seventh.

Look forward to seeing it back at the top again.
HERE is what screwed me up, may NEVER be number one again :(
I took my url link saferoofcleaning.com in my signature, and changed it to roof cleaning tampa florida.
That "created" thousands of "new" links, all at once.
Google aint stupid, and saw it for what it was.
They penalized me for it.
They dont trust me anymore.
ONLY because of something I do not care to share am I still ranked pretty high.
I got GREEDY.
STILL dominating local searches, have a look ?

Ron I think your trying to head in the rite direction with this, I don't know if your friend is reading this or not but for myself I would like to hear his methods. This guy has been in business for 10 plus years I think that speaks for itself !!!!!!

content's of home 507.jpg

I dont see how much easier and less invassive soft washing can get? From going up on a tile roof and downstreaming chemical followed by surface cleaning it, which would take 3hrs for a good size roof. Now the same roof takes 40 min, with the right ground person you will have no issues? if there is an easier more efficient way then what were doing now I'm all ears.

Sub it out !? LOl.....

Thats the direction I am trying to head, I got a few big jobs coming up and hope to jump off this lowball train. How have you been Ken, I haven't seen you around?

We're doing pretty well over here so far.....seems like people are starting to spend money a little more freely than in recent years.
I always said to myself that at 40 years old, I would give up control and have a crew to do this work. With the economy and the labor force here in Florida, I'm pretty sure that won't be happening any time soon!:winknudge:
Any word on Great White's stolen trailer?
