Have you ever seen roof mix do this to paint?

Sometimes while cleaning a roof, I will use the roof mix (10% SH, water and gain is what I use for roof mix) to clean the exterior walls of a house while the bushes are covered. I have done this over a hundred time with no problems. Except for this time. In the picture the two walls are two different colors. The one on the right is the color the entire building is supposed to be. For some reason my roof mix turned all of the building green except for one section. We cleaned the entire building the same exact way. Is there any alternative to fixing this other than painting the whole building? Has anyone else had this happen to them before?

There have been some cases of bleach turning certain sherwin williams and benjamin moore paints a green or brown color. the bleach reacts with the pigment in the paint. I actually had it happen to men on house but we did a pain test prior, showed the customer and he didn't care as he was painting the house after we cleaned the tile roof.

I have heard that when this happens the paint manufacture will supply you w paint to repaint, but no labor cost. i sound it has anything to do with copper.

Red, your pic looks like sprinkler stain and or oxidation.

Seems like a sprinkler would have better coverage. I didn't see this on any other part of the house.

Due to the patterned shape it just looks like had water stains from the sprinkler. The head could be clogged causing the irregularity, or previous growth from plants??? I don;t know, just thinking out loud

It's the sprinklers, I see it a lot here in Florida.

Matt, you may have stumbled upon a way to clean & 'paint' a house at the same time. You just need to figure out the formulas for different colors .... :)

looks like a headache to me. good luck on that. I have had a house streak just from downstreaming some bleach bad paint, nothing like what you have got here. Always do the test spot if your unsure. Certain colors are seem to be more likely to streak like Tans and browns some bright colors like teal and blue.
